As per Forbes magazine, IFC METROPOL ranks 13th among the most successful companies – IPO arrangers.
Russian version of Forbes, a well-known U.S. business magazine,
published 15 top companies – IPO arrangers operating on the Russian
and global markets. Among leaders are such world known companies as
Morgan Stanley, UBC Invstment Bank, Deutsche UFG, Goldman Sachs,
Merrill Lynch.
In the opinion of Mr. Alexander Selegenev, Managing Director of
METROPOL (UK) Limited, the number of banks operating in Russia is
much greater than that of good enterprises. ‘We cater for companies
that are worth of up to $200 million and always compete with
Deutsche UFG or Morgan Stanley.
The rating took into account all share placements from April 1,
2005, to April 1, 2006.
