IFC "METROPOL" opened a Representation office in Tomsk region

In July, 2007 IFC МЕТROPOL purchased 51 % of shares of Limited Liability Company “NPO TomGDK-Ruda” holding a license for Polynansky area of Bakcharsky iron-ore deposit. In the near future an Open Joint Stock Company “Bakcharsky steel” is planned to be founded on the basis of subsidiary structures of "МЕТROPOL". Apart from development of large-scale metallurgical production, the company also intends to realize in the region some more projects connected with construction and application of innovative research and development.
The representation office was founded for the purpose of interaction with authorities of Tomsk region - for coordination of introduction of the practice of Public Private Partnership, work with the regulatory approval system, selection of investment projects perspective for Tomsk region and corresponding to interests of МЕТROPOL Group.
Vadim Vlasov who has conducted various organizational pieces of Administration of Tomsk region over a period of several years was appointed as the head of the Representation office.
