Deputy Directors General of MBC Corporation took part in a meeting with the Deputy Minister for Regional Development of the Russian Federation to agree development Far East and Transbaikalia strategy

On 15 January 2009, the final meeting took place in the Ministry for Regional Development of the Russian Federation to agree the text for the development strategy of the Far East and Transbaikalia. Under presidency of D.B. Aratskiy, Deputy Minister for Regional Development of the Russian Federation, A.E. Chepik, Vice-President of the Government of the Republic of Buryatiya, T.G. Dumnov, Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of Buryatiya, as well as S.N. Garichev and B.D. Tsyrenov, Deputy Director General of MBC Corporation took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, the final version of the strategy was accepted. The mineral deposits are an important resource base of the region, and METROPOL Group is the licence holder. Further, the strategy project will be transferred to the corresponding commissions and subsequently to the government of the Russian Federation.
