Head of METROPOL Group of Companies M.V. Slipenchuk Receives Deputy Certificate
On March 25, 2011 the 34th session of the council of deputies of
Eravninskiy District municipal entity of the Republic of Buryatia
held at the Administration Headquarters in the settlement of
Sosnovoozersk declared the election results and delivered a
certificate of a deputy of the council of deputies of Isinga
District No.13 to Mikhail Viktorovich Slipenchuk.
Mayor of the City of Ulan-Ude G.A. Aidaev and the deputy of the
People’s Khural (Assembly) of the Republic of Buryatia T.E.
Dorzhiev addressed the session in support of the new political
figure. Then the session considered current matters included in its
agenda. Completion of the session was followed with a successful
test video-conference with the Headquarters of METROPOL Group of
Companies in Moscow.
Then the deputy М.V. Slipenchuk, following through with his
promise, donated to the Sosnovoozersk school 15 e-book readers, as
well as children’s books collected by employees of METROPOL Group
of Companies. The school’s library also received books by Member of
the USSR Writers’ Union, well-known Russian writer V.T. Slipenchuk,
including Time Light, Zinziver and Star Savior.
On March 25 and 26 М.V. Slipenchuk visited the settlements of
Ozerniy and Isinga, where he donated e-book readers to the school
and village libraries, and sports equipment (boxing, basketball,
table tennis and other equipment sets) to the school gym. At a
meeting with electorate of Ozerniy and Isianga М.V. Slipenchuk
urged local residents to make joint efforts in order to raise their
living standards. The deputy voiced again his favorite argument
saying: “One should propose, not ask”.
