M.V. Slipenchuk Takes Part in Conference “Results of Scientific Expedition 'Patomsky Crater 2010’” and Meets Mining University Students
On 31 March 2011, the Great Hall of the Saint Petersburg State
Mining University hosted the scientific conference “Results of
Scientific Expedition 'Patomsky Crater 2010’”, which was attended
by the organizers and participants of the expedition, as well as
scientists and reporters. S.M. Mironov, Chairman of the Federation
Council of the Russian Federation, M.V. Slipenchuk, Chairman of the
Board of Trustees of the Lake Baikal Preservation Foundation, and
V.S. Litvinenko, Rector of the Saint Petersburg Mining University.
The conference was attended by B.D. Tsyrenov, Director of the Lake
Baikal Preservation Foundation, members of expeditions to Patomsky
Crater, scientists, teachers and post-graduates of the Saint
Petersburg Mining University.
