President of Cruiser Varyag Charitable Foundation Mikhail Slipenchuk took part in the grand opening of the Cruiser Varyag – Discovery of a Relic exhibition

The grand opening of the Cruiser Varyag – Discovery of a Relic exhibition was held at Moscow’s Central Armed Forces Museum.
The exhibition displayed more than 50 exhibits from private collections and the holdings of Russian museums and those in the Republic of Korea.  Exhibits from the Cruiser Varyag Charitable Foundation stand alongside such precious items as the details of ship interiors, sailors’ personal belongings and awards, various publications, congratulatory addresses and rate photographs.
The exhibition settled into the legendary Victory Hall of the Central Armed Forces Museum (TsMVS), where the Banner of Victory in the Great Patriotic War for the first time hangs alongside the Cruiser Varyag jack, which forever symbolizes victory of the martial spirit.   The ceremony was attended by officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, admirals of the Russian Navy, distinguished guests from the Government of the Russian Federation, members of the media, marine cadets and navy veterans.
