Delegation of METROPOL Group headed by M.V. Slipenchuk took part in the work of the Forum on Development of the Economic Partnership between Russia and Finland
The Forum took place in Helsinki on November 15, 2007, and was
devoted to actual problems of expanding economical cooperation
between two countries.
The report dedicated to the perspectives of the Russian – Finnish
partnership at the Forum was delivered by E.S. Nabiullina, the
Minister for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian
Federation.
Also in the framework of the Forum a presentation of Irkutsk oblast
took place. One of the basic purposes of performing the said
presentation was the development of trade-economical,
scientific-technical and humanitarian cooperation between Irkutsk
oblast and Finland as well as drawing additional investments to the
region. Special attention was paid to the discussion of the concept
of development of the timber industry sector on mutually beneficial
grounds.
