IFC METROPOL among appraisers selected by OAO Gazprom
OAO Gazprom has summed up the results of the
tender to choose companies to carry out valuation. The tender was
announced in December 2004. Out of 230 participating companies,
only 40 were selected. They will be hired by OAO Gazprom and its
subsidiaries to deliver valuation.
Investment Financial Company METROPOL was also
selected. In November 2004 IFC METROPOL provided financial
consultancy to OAO Gazprom in the deal to acquire OOO Purgazdobycha
owing a license to develop the Zapadno-Tarkosalinskoye field.
The procedure to select appraisers was
coordinated with the BoD’s Committee on valuation and approved on
October 12, 2004. The Committee is headed by the Russian minister
of economic development and trade, German Gref.
