Head of METROPOL Group, PhD in Geography Mikhail Slipenchuk gave a lecture “Expedition “Mirs” on Baikal”” in Lomonosov Moscow State University

On December, 15 Mikhail Slipenchuk gave a lecture “Expedition “Mirs” on Baikal”” for the faculty of Geography in Lomonosov Moscow State University, which he himself graduated from. Mikhail Slipenchuk told students and professors of the faculty about the preparation and the expedition itself, the discoveries, which were made by the participants. Outstanding Russian scientist, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, honored professor of Lomonosov Moscow State University A.P. Kapitsa; head of the faculty of Geography, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences N.S. Kasimov; director of Baikal Institute of Management of Natural Resources of Siberian department of Russian Academy of Sciences, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.K. Tulokhonov; Hero of Russia, professor A.M. Sagalevich as special guests visited the lecture. Everybody was fascinated with the lecture and unique photo and video materials, which were made during the expedition. After the lecture M.V. Slipenchuk and A.M. Sagalevich answered the students’ questions.
