Head of METROPOL Group and Chairman of the Vietnam-Russia Business Council Mikhail Slipenchuk expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Russian Federation Bui Dinh Dinh for his cooperation on the occasion of termination of his mission
On May 25, Head of METROPOL Group and Chairman of the
Vietnam-Russia Business Council M.V. Slipenchuk gave a speech at
the official event held on the occasion of termination by
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist
Republic of Vietnam to the Russian Federation Bui Dihn Dihn of his
mission.
M.V. Slipenchuk gave a high rating to the achievements of the
Vietnamese Ambassador in the development and strengthening of the
Russian-Vietnamese economic cooperation noting, in particular, his
high professional expertise and non-formal approach to various
matters. “As the Chairman of the Vietnam-Russia Business Council, I
have felt very comfortable working with you all over these years,”
said M.V. Slipenchuk. “I have always felt your support.”
To illustrate high professional skills of the Ambassador, M.V.
Slipenchuk told about a trip to Vietnam organized by the Business
Council and METROPOL Group for Russian and international investors
in November 2007:
“It was necessary to arrange for Vietnamese visas to be issued
to more than one hundred participants of the event. Departure was
scheduled for Sunday, and on Saturday we were told that there were
several more persons wishing to join the delegation. We contacted
Mr. Bui Dihn Dihn. As a result, the Embassy of Vietnam opened on
Sunday, and visas were issued to those who wished to join. It was
an extremely rare case in the diplomatic practice! Who else would
be able to take such a step? Probably, it should be a person really
committed to his duties!»
The event was attended by Vice Speaker of the State Duma of the
Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation I.I. Melnikov, Deputy
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia A.N. Borodavkin and
representatives Russian non-governmental organizations and
companies cooperating with Vietnam.
The Group includes six battery plants and business units developing and introducing new technologies, and distributing products.
