IFC METROPOL Deputy General Director on Public and Corporate Relations Mikhail Borzin took part in the Young Entrepreneurs International Business Forum
The Young Entrepreneurs International Business Forum was held on
September 16-20 in the city of Omsk. The event was held
within the framework of the Year of Youth in the Russian Federation
presidential program under the slogan of “Joining Forces to Define
the Future.”
The Forum was attended by 1,500 young entrepreneurs from 15
countries that included states of the Commonwealth of Independent
States (CIS), China, Nepal, Latvia, Serbia and other states.
A plenary session entitled Non-Economic Aspects of Entrepreneurial
Development included addresses from former British Prime Minister
Tony Blair and the 64th U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine
Albright.
Mikhail Borzin used his roundtable address to tell the Forum
participants about METROPOL Group of company’s international
activities and the operation of its foreign representative
offices. He also turned his attention to issues involving the
Group’s cooperation with its business partners and other nations,
which comes within the frameworks of the Eurasian Business Council
as well as the Russian-Vietnamese and Russian-Turkmen Business
Councils.
The Group includes six battery plants and business units developing and introducing new technologies, and distributing products.
