IFC METROPOL Acts as Leading Co-organizer in the Bond Issue of Kuzbassenergo-Finance
IFC METROPOL acted as a leading co-organizer for series 02 bond
issue of LLC Kuzbassenergo-Finance (a business of OJSC
Kuzbassenergo) in the amount of RUB 5 billion.
According to the MICEX trading system, the company’s bonds were
traded in 40 transactions. The coupon rate for the series 02 bonds
was 8.7% per annum. Coupon yield will amount to RUB 43.38 per bond.
The rate of coupons 2-10 is equal to the 1st coupon rate. The issue
will mature in ten years. The bonds are underwritten by OJSC
Yenisei TGC (TGC-13) and OJSC Kuzbassenergo.
The company opened the book of investors’ bond applications on
April 13. Applications were accepted until 17:00 Moscow time on
April 26. Before closing the book LLC Kuzbassenergo-Finance lowered
the benchmark rate for the 1st coupon of series 02 10-year bonds
from 8.7%-9% per annum to 8.55%-8.85%. Earlier the company reduced
the 1st coupon benchmark rate from 8.85%-9.1% per annum to
8.7%-9%.
The organizers of the issue are Sberbank of Russia, Gazprombank
and VTB Capital. The leading co-organizers are OJSC JSCB Sviaz-Bank
and IFC Metropol. The joint underwriters are OJSC ALFA-BANK, CJSC
¬GLOBEXBANK, OJSC Promsvyazbank and OJSC Coalmetbank.
LLC Kuzbassenergo-Finance is a subsidiary of
OJSC Kuzbassenergo (TGC-12). Kuzbassenergo was established in 2005
on the basis of six power plants with an installed capacity of
3,623 MW and three power plants of OJSC Altaienergo with an
installed capacity of 784.2 MW as part of reorganization of RAO UES
of Russia. The company produces electric power and heat at power
plants in the Kemerovo Region and the Altai Territory.
Investment Financial Company METROPOL was
established in 1995. It provides brokerage services, services for
participation in reorganization, purchase and sale transactions,
crisis management, attracting borrowed and equity capital, sale of
assets, financial and corporate consulting. The Company arranges
IPOs, secondary emission and allocation of private blocks of
shares. The National Rating Agency assigned to IFC METROPOL an
individual reliability rating of AAA (maximum reliability).
