The delegation of METROPOL Group of companies headed by General Director of the IFC “METROPOL” M.V. Slipenchuk took part in the Second Russian-Japanese Investment forum
On the Forum organized by the Ministry of economic development
and trade of Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economics of
Japan and with the participation of METROPOL Group, gathered more
than 500 representatives of the Russian and Japanese business
circles and the governments of two countries. The Russian
governmental delegation included Prime Minister M. Fradkov,
minister of the industry and power engineering V. Hristenko,
minister of transport I. Levitin and minister of informational
technologies and communication L.Reyman.
M. Slipenchuk performing his speech at the Forum paid attention to
investment mechanisms of state-private partnership in the Russian
Federation and to its value for development of domestic business.
He underlined the opportunities of the Japanese investments into
the Russian economy and industry, and also steady growth of
cooperation of METROPOL Group with business circles of Japan.
During the Forum METROPOL Group signed 2 agreements with the
Japanese companies:
- the Memorandum for the cooperation with United Partners
Securities in development and realizations of the project of
trading of the Russian companies equities in Japan
- the Agreement on business partnership with Capital Partners
Securities according to which the parties will to cooperate in the
real estate projects
While the Forum the delegation of METROPOL Group negotiated on
financial and mineral and raw projects with other leading Japanese
companies.
METROPOL Group organized, February, 28, the solemn reception in
honor of the Forum participants, that was visited by more than 300
persons.
The Group includes six battery plants and business units developing and introducing new technologies, and distributing products.
