“METROPOL” Group of companies hold the presentation for the representatives of the business circles of Republic Korea
Over 80 representatives of the leading mining,
trading and financial companies of Republic Korea visited this
presentation in Seoul .
Director General of IFC METROPOL M.V. Slipenchuk spoke at the
presentation. In his speech M. Slipenchuk put the special emphasis
on the most perspective directions of the cooperation with the
Korean partners: the realization of the lead-raw projects in
Eastern Siberia (in particular, the development of deposits of
nonferrous metals in Republic Buryatiya); the attracting of the
financial structures of Republic Korea to investment in the joint
projects. Besides in plans of the Group is the creation in Korea
the share funds focused on the investments into the instruments of
the Russian share market, and also a joint realization of the
building and developing projects, both in Russia, and abroad, in
particular, in Montenegro.
According to M.V. Slipenchuk, one of the
priority directions of the Group’s activity of for today is the
attraction of the direct investments into the mining industry and
the creation of the international industrial holdings. In order to
realize this strategy MBC Resources company was created. The
company possesses the rights to the development of the largest
deposits of polymetallic ores in Russia, in Republic Buryatiya and
takes in the lead positions in the world on stocks of lead and
zinc. According to the consulting company Ronald Berger Strategy
Consultants, today the cost of MBC Resources is from 1,5 up to 3,5
billion US dollars.
The Group includes six battery plants and business units developing and introducing new technologies, and distributing products.
