First meeting of Obibank Russian and Japanese shareholders: aiming at transition to Internet-banking

The shareholders of CB Obibank LLC and SBI Holdings (Japan) Inc. met for the first time within the framework   of transition to web-banking took place in Moscow, in the office of IFC METROPOL on October 13, 2011.

M.Slipenchuk, head of METROPOL Group, Mr. Nagamoto, Head of the representative office of SBI Holdings in Moscow, A.Kichayev, Chairman of the Board of directors of CB Obibank LLC, P.Khramshin, Chairman of the Board of CB Obibank LLC, as well as Esitaka Kitao, director of SBI Holdings, Inc. from Tokyo, participated in the video conference.
In the course of the meeting the Russian participants presented a Model of Obibank transition to web-banking. The Model included Russian web-banking market analysis and specified the prospects of organization and realization of Internet-services in the Bank. The purpose of the project is to promote web-banking services from CB Obibank LLC to the leading positions in correspondent sectors of Russian financial market.
The parties also confirmed their intent to continue fruitful cooperation in the future.
