Meeting of President of the Republic of Buryatia Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn and Head of METROPOL Group Michael Slipenchuk
June 29, 2011 in Ulan-Ude in the People's Hural of Buryatia
Republic held a working meeting between the President of the
Republic of Buryatia Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn and , Head of METROPOL
Group Michael Slipenchuk. During the meeting they discussed
current issues relating to investment activities, social and
environmental projects of METROPOL Group in Buryatia.
After working session President of the Republic of Buryatia
Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn solemnly handed Michael Slipenchuk the badge
of honor of the Buryat Republic "for his significant contribution
to the development of the economy of Buryatia, the welfare of its
inhabitants, as well as to enhance the prestige and authority of
the Republic of Buryatia in the Russian Federation and abroad." The
award became a pleasant surprise.
Gold, silver and bronze badges are the state awards of the
Republic of Buryatia – they represent the highest form of reward
and recognition. The badge of honor in the form of golden star,
especially released for the 350th anniversary of the entry of
Buryatia in to the Russian state, is given to those who have
contributed significantly in the development of Buryatia, but they
are not natives of the Republic.
