The delegation of METROPOL Group headed by M. Slipenchuk takes part in the 2nd International Rail Business Forum “1520 Strategic Partnership” in Sochi

he 2nd International Rail Business Forum “1520 Strategic Partnership” takes place in Sochi from May 23 to 26. IFC METROPOL is the business partner of the Forum. Head of METROPOL Group M. Slipenchuk took part in the panel discussion "Capital, technologies, people — the key resources for “1520 Area” business development” and acted with a report "Construction of railroad line Mozgon – Ozerny GOK within the limits of the Public Private Partnership project “Complex development of Transbaikalia".

M. Slipenchuk acquainted participants of the discussion with plans of construction of a railroad line from Mogzon station up to Ozerny GOK station (160 km). The railroad was included into the program "Strategy of development of a railway transport in Russian Federation till 2030". This line will become the first site of strategic and geopolitic railway spur Mozgon — Novy Uojan extensional 700 km, connecting the Trans-Siberian Railway and Baikal-Amur Mainline. M. Slipenchuk referred in detail on the features of one of the largest Public Private Partnership project "Complex development of Transbaikalia" and on it’s planned macroeconomic effect.

Head of the IB Department IFC METROPOL Ekaterina Akhanova took part in the work of a round-table conference "Investment resources for “1520 Area” business development: most effective attraction strategies", where ways and mechanisms of attraction of investments into railway branch were discussed.
