IFC METROPOL stepped forth as the financial consultant in the sale of a blocking stake in Granit JSC

Granit JSC controls six granite rubble deposits in Karelia. The sale has been completed, with the blocking stake purchased by the Russia Infrastructure Equities Fund.

Reference Note

Russia’s Granite Joint-Stock Company was created in 2005 and currently holds licenses to conduct geological surveys and produce building stone for gneissic granite production purposes at the Severny, Ritikka, Aittovuori, Loukhimyaki and Granitnaya Selga subsoil plots. The licenses further allow it explore and appraise building stone deposits at the Svidselga subsoil plot, located in the Republic of Karelia.
