Republic of Buryatia President and Government Chairman V. Nagovitsyn held a meeting in Ulan-Ude on April 18, 2008 devoted to the implementation of the Trans-Baikal Comprehensive Development public and private partnership project.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation of Trans-Baikal Development, V. Khalanov and Corporation of Trans-Baikal Development General Director O. Mikhaylenko; the Republic of Buryatia Deputy Government Chairman A. Chelik; Trans-Baikal Region Deputy Governor E. Vishnyakov; the Republic of Buryatia First Deputy Economy Minister R. Yegorov; Atomredmetzoloto JSC Deputy General Director V. Svyatetsky; MBC Corporation Deputy General Director B. D. Tsyrenova; Regional Policy Institute Director B. Stolyarov; the Director of the Department of Investment Analysis and Accounting of Atomredmetzoloto JSC, I. Savina; the Head of the Department of Marketing and Business Development of GidroOGK JSC, A. Muravyova; and other officials.

The meeting examined a wide range of issues linked to the project’s preparation and implementation. It designated problems that meeting participants have encountered in the past, and proposed a number of specific measures aimed their resolution.
