IFC METROPOL’s affiliate won an auction of the right to use mineral resources of Nazarovskoye deposit in Buryatia
An auction of the right to use mineral resources
of the Nazarovskoye deposit in the Republic of Buryatia was held on
November 30, 2004. The auction was declared by Russia’s Ministry of
Natural Resources and the Government of the Republic of
Buryatia.
OOO Yaruuna Invest, set up by OOO
Techprominvest, a subsidiary of IFC METROPOL, won the auction of
the right to use mineral resources to explore and mine gold,
sulphide and zinc ore at the Nazarovskoye deposit in the Republic
of Buryatia.
IFC METROPOL’s victory was determined by its
efforts to develop its industrial business.
