IFC METROPOL makes the Top Three of a Thompson Reuters rating of M&A deals in Eastern Europe over the first nine months of 2008
IFC METROPOL was ranked third by volume of merger and
acquisition (M&A) deals closed in Eastern Europe over the first
nine months of 2008 in a rating compiled by Thomson Reuters.
According to the rating, IFC METROPOL has also been ranked as one
of the Top Three companies according to volume of M&A deals
completed in Russia over the same period. Other companies
making Eastern Europe’s Top Three in M&A deals included Merrill
Lynch and JP Morgan.
According to Thompson Reuters, IFC METROPOL served as the financial
consultant for 47 concluded deals, whose volume reached $35,193.4
million dollars.
Earlier, IFC METROPOL led all other Russian financial consultants
in terms of the number of Russian M&A deals for 2007 in a
rating compiled by Dealogic. Both Thomson Reuters and Dealogic also
listed IFC METROPOL as one of the best investment banks on Eastern
Europe’s M&A market, based on results of first half-year of
2008.
