Construction of the first phase of Baikal Harbor tourist zone to be completed soon

A commissioning ceremony for the first phase of infrastructure facilities of the Baikal Harbor Special Economic Zone of tourism and vacation was held on October 27, 2010. Putting Baikal Harbor facilities into operation is the first successful tourism project in the region implemented within the framework of a public-private partnership. The event was attended by representatives of the Government of the Buryat Republic, OJSC Special Economic Zones, METROPOL Group of Companies, Buryat municipalities, and top managers of the general contractor – OJSC Zapsibgazprom.
