The delegation headed by Mr. Slipenchuk M.V., Head of METROPOL Group of companies visited the Republic of Buryatia
The delegation included the representatives of METROPOL Group,
the Corporation “Global Development of the Transbaikalian region”,
the state corporation “Rostechnologii”, “Rusinvestpartner” Ltd,
“GidroOGK” Ltd, company Lundin Mining, St. Petersburg Institute of
Mines, Vnesheconombank etc.
On February, 8 the delegation took part in the working session
of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia. During the session,
a wide range of issues was covered, connected to the development of
the project of the partnership between the state and the private
sector called “Global Development of the Transbaikalian
region”.
On February, 9 took place the ceremony of the opening of units
of the first series of the Lake mining and processing enterprise –
the bridge over the river of Kholoi and the camp colony of the Lake
enterprise. The visitors could explore the projects of “Global
Development of the Transbaikalian region” and “Developing the Lake
Ore Deposit”.
The camp colony of the Lake enterprise may house up to 365
persons. This is the first camp colony in Buryatia, created in
accordance with newest European technologies. The employees will
have all the facilities: a cinema, a gymnasium, sauna and shower
rooms, a canteen, a laundry, one- and two-person rooms for rest,
there is also a stable internet and mobile connection.
In honor of the opening of the camp colony, the First sports
festival was held in the camp’s gymnasium.
